She has reportedly signed a lucrative magazine deal for photos of her lavish wedding, and Rosanna Davison was doing everything in her power to ensure no snaps of herbig day were leaked.
The 30-year-old and her other half, Wes Quirke, said “I do” for the second time in just over a fortnight in Ibiza on Sunday.
They invited 100 people to share their special day, but in order to keep images from leaking out, the former Miss World asked for mobile phones to be turned in to her security team ahead of the ceremony and glitzy reception at the Atzaro Hotel.
“Everyone had to surrender their phones over when they arrived at the hotel, so nobody could take any
pictures at all,” a source told The Herald. “The bride looked absolutely sensational, but her pals couldn’t get a shot of her due to the strict measures.” It’s believed that the loved-up couple have signed a picture deal with a leading UK magazine.
Rosanna and her husband hired wedding planner Tara Fay to help them organise their big day abroad, and the insider said everything was “perfect". The AR model wore a gown made by her close pal and
bridesmaid, designer Dawn Fitzgerald, and her father, Chris De Burgh, performed a couple of songs for the happy couple during the sun-kissed ceremony. Even though there will be yet another party on June 21 in the Powerscourt Hotel and Spa Resort in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, for the bride and groom, guests invited to Ibiza enjoyed a second day of celebrations.
Keeping things more laidback, an informal beachside barbecue bash was held at Ibiza’s Blue Marlin Beach Club last night. Many of the friends and family of the newlyweds, including Rosie’s best pal Hayley Rock, are expected to make their way home this afternoon.
Rosanna and businessman Wes officially became Mr and Mrs Quirke on May 16.
