Vogue Williams reveals LA travel plans as she judges Best Dressed Lady in Dundalk
It's LA dreaming for Vogue Williams following her high profile split from Brian McFadden as she's off to California to film her new TV show.
The 29-year-old is shooting a Reality Bites series for RTE called Mean Girls where she meets women in prison and tough muay thai fighters.
"It's a really fascinating show. I'm going to LA soon and I never thought I'd say this but I'm hoping to make it onto death row," she said while judging Ladies Day at the Dundalk Races today.
"It's really quite hard to gain access but I'm also going to try and stay overnight in a prison," she added.
"It's just for a couple of weeks because I have to shoot another part of the series back here but I'm looking forward to it.
"I've no plans to move to the US, I'm happy travelling over and back between London and Dublin.
The Assets model was speaking for the first time since it was announced on Tuesday she and Brian were separating and opted for an all black ensemble for her judging duties at the races.
Vogue has thrown herself into her work in the meantime, attending the ITV Summer Party in London, where her soon to be ex husband collected her and broke her silence on the split today, writing in her weekly Sunday World column: "We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too. I don't want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others lives."
'Brogue' announced their break up on Twitter, where they announced their engagement in 2012, by releasing a statement saying: "It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.
"We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and we wish each other all the very best for the future.
"We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period."
