Vogue Williams has said that she’s delighted that her ex-husband Brian McFadden has found love again.
The Diary can reveal how the former Westlife star is continuing to pursue a romance with super-fit British athlete Danielle Parkinson (30).
The pretty blonde, who also works as a PE teacher at a secondary school in her native Manchester, has been dating the singer for more than three months and the pair are clearly smitten with each other.
Danielle, who has represented Great Britain in the heptathlon, has been supporting him throughout his Boyzlife tour in the UK, and has even started learning golf, as her other half is so keen on the sport.
Brian (36) first set tongues wagging during a TV appearance in the UK last week where he said that he had met someone new but declined to reveal their identity.
This is his first serious relationship since splitting from his Howth-born model ex-wife. Commenting on his romance for the first time, his former wife Vogue said that she couldn’t be happier for him.
“I heard that he was seeing someone and I’m genuinely delighted for him, I really am. We’re still on really good terms and I wish him all the best,” she said.
The pair were married for three years before deciding to call it quits in the summer of 2015, but have managed to remain on good terms and even spent last Christmas together.
Meanwhile, Vogue said that she has contacted the administrator of the pornography site that used her image, asking them to take it down.
Along with other RTE stars like Miriam O’Callaghan and Kathryn Thomas, her face was super-imposed onto a series of explicit images, much to her horror.
Speaking of her upset after seeing the pictures, she said she has done her best to have the images removed.
“I did email the company yesterday and asked them to take them down.
“The problem is, there’s no laws in Ireland that can force them to remove them,” she said.
“I’ve seen the pictures and they’re horrible; they’re really bad pictures, really explicit.”
Tonight sees the TV star returning to RTE2 when her new show, Vogue Williams: On the Edge, is aired.
The first episode features an exploration of the issues facing transgender people in Ireland.
Vogue said she has already started work on a third season of her popular show, which she’ll be making for RTE.
“It’s another documentary-type show and I’ll also be doing more work in the UK next year, so it’s all going great,” she said.
