Una Foden will be spending the summer away from the spotlight nesting in her new home in Northampton, England.

The Saturdays singer (33) said she has barely had a moment to herself since giving birth to baby Tadhg in February and wrapping her Voice of Ireland mentoring duties last month and is  now "taking the time to chill".

Soon after welcoming her second child, she flew home to Tipperary where she set up camp while filming the live shows of The Voice and now she finally has the chance to put the finishing touches on her brand new home, which she and husband, rugby player Ben Foden just purchased last year.

"It's an old farm house. It has these great chimneys, but birds keep falling down there. It's nice to finally be here and in the countryside and get Aoife and Tadhg into a routine," she told Independent Style.

The flame haired beauty regularly shares pictures of her adorable children Aoife Belle (three) and Tadhg (three months) on her Instagram account, but still wants to keep her family away from the limelight where possible.

"They're very cute, Aoife has taken so well to him, he's a little dream and so smiley," she explained. "But we're not into the showbiz side of things. I live each day as a normal person around my family and friends. We're happy to do our own thing with some peace and quiet."

And while she may have been praised for her post baby body, she didn't put herself under too much pressure to get back in shape.

"The thing with being pregnant is to eat well and not overdo it, you're not eating for two," she said. "I'm used to being very fit, but I didn't overdo it and I didn't put myself under too much pressure. I was on The Voice a month after having the baby and I asked the show's stylist Ingrid Hoey, who is brilliant, to bring in things a size larger. That's how we did it."

Meanwhile, she said that she had heard no confirmation as to whether or not the reality show would return for a fourth season on RTE, only saying that she would be up for returning.

"It's literally just off the air," she said. "It was a huge success ratings wise, but I've heard no confirmation if it's back.

“I’m still in touch with Patrick {Donoghue}, he knows I want to be involved in everything.”

Una has just been unveiled as the new brand ambassador for Cadbury’s Chocolate Ireland and promoting their new Cadbury Air campaign, which is offering competition winners five “delicious destinations” to choose from, including Marrakech, Berlin, Rome, Barcelona and Monaco.
