There was sweaty chaos at the Emmys as temperatures reached 100 degrees on the red carpet
Olivia Culpo almost fainted on the Emmys red carpet due to excessively hot weather.
The temperature in Los Angeles on Sunday reached 100 degrees Fahrenheit, which is nearly 38 degrees Celsius.
And while Miss Universe 2012 winner Olivia spoke to E! Live from the Red Carpet hosts Giuliana Rancic, Ross Mathews and Brad Goreski, the former beauty queen nearly lost consciousness.
However she managed to regain control over her body after kneeling on the ground for a minute, with people surrounding Olivia ensuring she was okay.

After the red carpet scare took place, Olivia joked about it via social media.
“OMG it is SO HOT out here. Literally just almost passed out (sic),” she wrote on Twitter, telling fans all is well, despite slight embarrassment. “When u almost pass out on LIVE TV. It's ok I know u would have caught me."
Olivia also took to Instagram by sharing a close-up photo of her glamorous Emmys ensemble, writing in the image caption: “My Emmys look pre on-air pass out!!!”
At one point the ex-girlfriend of singer Nick Jonas sat in a wheelchair to find her bearings.
Giuliana commented on Olivia’s condition too, telling E! Live from the Red Carpet viewers they do not need to be concerned about her welfare.
"I just want everyone to know that Olivia Culpo is fine. She got a little overheated at the end there, it's very hot out here," Giuliana explained.
Olivia wasn’t the only one suffering from the heat, as presenter Mario Lopez’s white dress shirt was see-through after he literally drenched himself with sweat on the red carpet.
Comedian Jordan Peele of the Key & Peele sketch show managed to make the sweltering atmosphere hilarious somehow.
“This is like Satan’s butthole hot,” Jordan noted to USA Today. “The sweat does a good thing. It makes people feel effervescent.”
Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet lined his suit with ice packs to keep cool.
“I'm like meat at a butcher shop," Eric laughed to ET Online. "They're still a little chilly down there. Feels good.
"I let everybody know about it. I don't know why people don't copy me."
