The Illustrated Dad: David Beckham gets his 41st tattoo, in honour of son Brooklyn
Soccer legend and doting dad David Beckham has added a new ink piece to his body.
The 40-year-old footballer has chosen to honour his eldest son Brooklyn with the new tat.
David shared an image of the artwork, positioned just behind his ear, which reads "Buster" in cursive font accompanied by a small heart.
"I've always called Brooklyn (Buster) since the day he was born.... Love you Bust @brooklynbeckham" he wrote.
Proud dad David was possibly celebrating Brooklyn's recent GCSE results with the tattoo.
"Something tells me I love this not so little man so much ...... Growing up fast into a perfect gentleman and hiking buddy.... I love you big boy," he recently said of the 16-year-old.
The former England captain went to iconic Hollywood parlour Shamrock Social Club for the new stamp.
Last month, David had the words "Pretty Lady" and the number 99 tattood onto his collar bone in honour of his only daughter and the year 1999, when he wed Victoria and won the Treble with previous club Manchester United.
The dad-of-four already has an extensive collection of ink on his body. Among the reputed 40 tattoos are roses, biblical script, stars, angels, Latin phrases and the names of his wife Victoria and children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
