Strictly 2010 champion Kara Tointon backs Anita Rani to be 2015 winner

Former Strictly Come Dancing winner and EastEnders actress Kara Tointon has said she is backing BBC presenter Anita Rani to win the show.

Tointon won the competition in 2010 alongside her professional partner, Artem Chigvintsev.

She appeared as a guest on the Jonathan Ross show with Great British Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc, Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton and comedian John Bishop.

She told Ross: "We like Anita (Rani)", with Giedroyc agreeing: "I'd like Anita to win."

Tointon added: " Georgia (May Foote) is gorgeous, there's such a good level all over the table (this series)".

The former EastEnders star will appear with Giedroyc in ITV's festive treat, The Sound Of Music Live, which is due to air on December 20.
