THIS week’s ‘storm in a teacup ‘ about Storm Keating’s real name has been put to bed by the Aussie beauty.

There are no hard feelings between Ronan Keating’s wife and 2fm’s Jen Maguire after the radio star ‘outed’ her this week when she revealed that her first name is Sharyn.

Storm, who goes by her middle name, hit back at the star on social media with a picture of her birth cert but the pair made friends this morning when she appeared on Jen’s Breakfast Republic show.

On air she joked that nobody listened to the early morning show anyways and that Republic of Telly was better without Jen.

It was all in the name of fun, however and Storm has put the bizarre row behind her.“I had great craic [on the show],” she told Independent.ie

“The only thing that got to me a little bit was the idea of people thinking that I made my name up and I didn’t.”

“I didn’t just make it up and give it to me, I was born with it.”

“But they [the Breakfast Republic team] are funny, hilarious people and all I needed to do was make sure that people still knew that I didn’t make my name up.. it wasn’t a big deal, it was grand.

"When asked if she thought it was OK for Jen to 'out' her on national radio the former television producer said Jen was just doing her job.

“That’s her job, she was just taking the p*ss. That’s why we had a laugh about it,” she said of RTE’s Jen.

“I still just think it’s hilarious how out of control it got. All of a sudden there are headlines like ‘it’s not her real name – scandal’,” she said.

Storm was speaking at the launch of limited edition Sketchers that will help raise money for the Marie Keating Foundation .
