David Beckham's 40th birthday celebration in Marrakech seems to have turned into a bit of a Spice Girls reunion, according to pictures his wife put on Instagram.
Victoria Beckham posted images today on the social network showing her with former bandmates Mel C, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.
Ex-Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, food writer Tana Ramsey and model and actress Denise Vasi are also in pictures, which show them having what looks like a great time in a Moroccan venue.
The fashion designer and singer, formerly Posh Spice, posted a picture - minus David - with the message: "Amazing evening with my girls last night x vb."
She later posted a picture of the four Spice Girls and Longoria, with the message: "Spice Girls in Marrakech!"
Longoria later put up a similar photo with the message: "I'm the new Spice Girl! #LatinaSpice."
However, there were no pictures with the fifth Spice Girl, the X Factor judge Mel B.
Victoria had earlier used her Twitter account to hint at her husband's birthday plans, posting a picture of a dress and even giving the event its own hashtag - #DB40.
She later posted a picture of the couple with their arms wrapped around each other standing by a plane. Her tweet said: "So excited to be celebrating David's birthday x #DB40"
She also posted one on Instagram of the pair by the side of a small lake, writing: "Special evening with family and friends x #DB40 x"
Former England footballer Beckham shared his birthday with the royal baby, plus the singer Lily Allen (30) and designer Donatella Versace (60).
He marked turning 40 by joining Instagram yesterday and he already has 3.6 million followers.
The star posted a picture of himself lying in bed, with the caption: "Good morning and hello! It's great to finally be on Instagram, been a long time coming but I can't wait to start sharing all my special moments with you.
"Thank you for all your birthday messages so far. Looking forward to a great day with friends and family x."
He later posted pictures including one of him with eldest son Brooklyn and an old photo of himself with former Manchester United teammates including Ryan Giggs.
