Smitten Nadia Forde plans Irish visit to 'show off' new rugby player beau Dominic Day
They've only been dating for two months, but things are moving quickly for Nadia Forde and her new boyfriend.
The model turned singer (26) is said to have instantly hit it off with Welsh rugby player Dominic Day and the two are clearly smitten with one another as he's visiting Ireland soon to meet her family and friends.
The London-based star met her other half of two months through her best friend Debbie O'Leary, who is engaged to Peter Stringer's rugby connections in the UK.
This marks the first serious romance for Nadia, who shot to international prominence after being linked to world number one golfer Rory McIlroy, in nearly four years.
"It's very unlike Nadia to have a guy around so it show s it's getting serious when they've been spotted out together," an insider told the Irish Daily Mirror.
"It's still very early days and she's still getting to know Dominic, but he's a gentleman and they're great together so it won't be long before she takes him home to Dublin to show him off. After being linked to so many fake boyfriends, it's a relief for her this one is actually the real deal and it's the happiest Nadia has been in ages.
"She's literally glowing and all of us who are close to her can see how happy and comfortable she is."
Nadia, who is currently in rehearsals in London for the musical, The West End Men, alongside X Factor's Marcus Collins, which comes to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin on June 7, watched her beau play at lock for Bath in their thrilling 27-26 win over Harlequins at Twickenham on Friday night.
