Sir Bruce Forsyth will dust off his black tie once again as he reunites with Tess Daly for the BBC Children In Need Call The Midwife Strictly Come Dancing special.

It will be the second year the veteran presenter has returned for the charity edition of the dancing competition after quitting the show in April 2014.

Forsyth and Daly will introduce the four stars of the hit BBC One midwife drama who will go head-to-head to win the unique Pudsey-shaped glitterball trophy.

Swapping babies for ballroom for one night only, Jenny Agutter and Stephen McGann will strut their stuff to Moon River while Laura Main and Jack Ashton will twist to Tutti Frutti.

Partnered with professional dancers Ian Waite, Joanne Clifton, Brendan Cole and Oti Mabuse, the stars will no doubt be hoping that notoriously tough judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli ease up for their charitable turn.

The Call The Midwife actors follow in the footsteps of co-star Helen George who made her dancefloor debut alongside Aljaz Skorjanec on this series of the dance show.

To find out who will be crowned the Strictly Come Dancing Children in Need winner, tune in to BBC One from 7.30pm.
