Simon Cowell’s most famous ex Sinitta has admitted they will never be romantically involved again now that he is a father.
She admitted her on-off relationship with her long-term lover has ended now that he has a son and is in a committed relationship with Lauren Silverman.
The mum-of-two told OK magazine that their ‘‘yo-yo’’ relationship situation is over now that he has a new family.
‘‘The whole are-we-or-aren’t-we thing with Simon and I… Being a bit stuck or hung-up on each other, but not being able to fully commit to each other and equally not being able to fully move on,’’ she said.
‘‘In recent times we’ve finally been able to do that and him having a baby with Lauren certainly stops the yo-yo situation forever," she insisted.
The former pop star hinted that the pair had always enjoyed romantic relations even when they purported to just being friends.
‘‘I guess he’s not always been able to be a faithful boyfriend until now, but he has been a faithful friend. Simon and I have good times together,’’ she recalled.
She is godmother to his newborn son Eric and believes the music mogul will remain faithful to the mother of his child.

‘‘I think he’s met his match – they have so much in common, they suit each other and I think they deserve to be together.
‘‘Lauren has made my best friend extremely happy and he’s finally found the woman he truly loves,’’ she said.
Simon is known for being close to his "harem" of ex-girlfriends, which includes 45-year-old Sinitta.

When she initially found out Simon was set to be a father, Sinitta expressed her shock by tweeting that it was ‘‘half miracle, half nightmare.’’
She admitted that she felt a mixture of emotions including resentment that Cowell never wanted a baby with her.
She dated the X Factor judge in the 1980s and insisted that he is still a faithful friend.
‘‘We care for each other's families. His mum's like my mother. I've known her since I was a teenager, we're old family friends,’’ she said.
She denied rumours that Cowell pays her wage but said, ‘‘When I was mentoring on The X Factor he paid me the going rate.’’
‘‘As godfather he pays towards my children's school fees and he buys us lovely birthday and Christmas presents. He's a generous friend but I earn my own money,’’ she insisted.
Sinitta has two children - son Zac, seven, and daughter Magdalena, eight.
