The former RTE chat show host (36) said that she doesn't associate any negativity with her thyroid cancer battle in xxxx.

"I'm healthier than ever now and it's like it never happened. It's not something that occupies my thoughts at all," she told the Irish Sun.

"In a way, it was a great thing to happen as it makes me more grateful for everything I have. I don't think anything negative about it. All it brought is positive - people who've been through serious illnesses will understand that."

And Sile, who is now a freelance broadcaster who is dabbling with a burgeoning singing career, said that beating cancer has given her a new lease of life.

"I can appreciate life now. It's the kind of thing you don't think will ever happen to you, so it's a wake up call when it does," she added.
