Sharon Stone leaves the house in her Marigold washing up gloves
We hope Sharon Stone remembered to turn the tap off...
The Hollywood star might defy her 57 years, but there was no excuses for the garish green gloves she wore to the recent star studded Celebrity Fright Night.
In a fitted, backless white gown with ruffle detailing by Gucci, the actress ensured all eyes were on her.
However, her choice of accessory left onlookers perplexed - as she donned a pair of emerald green leather gloves up to her elbows.
The gloves, from luxury accessory brand Causse Gantier, were reminiscent of something the actress might have worn to do the washing up before dashing to the red carpet.
We're guessing that wasn't the choice for the A lister - who was in town to collect the Andrea Bocelli Humanitarian Award over the weekend.
Famed for her risqué scene in Basic Instinct, the blond beauty recently talked to Harper's Bazaar about ageing stereotypes and body confidence.
"I'm aware that my ass looks like a bag of flapjacks but I'm not trying to be the best-looking broad in the world," she said when asked if she'd ever pose nude again.
"At a certain point you start asking yourself: 'What really is sexy?'
She concluded, "It's not just the elevation of your boobs. It's being present and having fun and liking yourself enough to like the person that’s with you."
