John Legend has made us fall in love with him even more.

The singer has taken to Facebook to defend wife Chrissy Teigen, who was slammed for going out without her daughter one week after giving birth.

The model was photographed going for dinner in Los Angeles with Legend one week after their daughter, Luna, was born.

The pictures received major backlash online, with commenters criticising Teigen for going out without her baby so soon after giving birth.

One person wrote: “Maybe it’s just rich people… I don’t think I let anyone watch my child without me til a month or two. I just wanted to hold and stare and my children when they were born [sic].”

However, the All of Me singer wasn’t happy with his wife being the only one receiving negative comments, and took to Facebook on Tuesday night to vent his frustration and wrote: “funny there's no dad-shaming”.

“When both of us go out to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn't have to take it all. We'll split it,” he said.

His fans were quick to agree, with one user writing: "Yes!! Why do moms get all the judgment and dads get a free pass? You should be able to go have dinner with your wife for a couple of hours, by yourselves, without being shamed! People are insane."

The new mum recently shared a photo wearing a strapless crop top and shorts as she prepared Mother's Day brunch, so it doesn’t seem that the negativity has bothered her too much.
