It looks like there might be a new power couple.

Wimbledon champion Serena Williams is reportedly dating rapper Drake and the pair were spotted kissing after her victory on Saturday.

After her sensational win over the weekend, she is said to have embraced her rumoured love interest immediately after and was alter joking about being asked about their relationship at a press conference.

"Publicly she says they’re just friends but Drake has been by Serena’s side throughout the tournament and when they’ve been away from the public and relaxed, it’s been pretty obvious that they are together," an insider told South African newspaper Times Live.

''Even Serena's team have been talking about it in the clubhouse to a few people they trust. She has been incredibly focused on her title bid. But if she's had a quiet moment she's spent it with Drake, even going to watch his Wireless set and having dinners in London.''

The pair dated back in 2011 and while the tennis superstars never publicly acknowledged a romance, she did say in 2012 the reason she was single was being left heartbroken in her last relationship.

''I’m a really emotional person. I give my all and everything. I do make mistakes — like every human does — but the last relationship just was too much of a heartbreak for me," she said.

"I just can’t go through that anymore. It was hard.''
