Kourtney Kardashian's partner is reportedly mourning the death of his father.

The reality television star shares two children with longtime partner Scott Disick.

According to Radar Online, the family is grieving the loss of Scott's dad, Jeffrey.

The website reports Jeffrey, a real estate developer who had made cameos on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, passed away last week.

His cause of death remains unclear.

The loss comes less than three months after Scott's mother, Bonnie, passed away.

Both were 63 at the time of their deaths, according to MailOnline.

Scott grew up in Long Island, New York, and began dating Kourtney in 2007, shortly after his move to Los Angeles.

His parents famously appeared in an episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, when the couple took their then-only child, Mason, to see his grandparents.

In 2012, Star magazine reported Jeffrey and Bonnie were uncomfortable around their son's new family.

"They're completely removed from the Beverly Hills scene and look like fish out of water when they're with [Kardashian family matriarch] Kris [Jenner] and her glamorous girls," a source said.

Jeffrey's name was also pulled into headlines in 2012, when he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour charge of petty larceny after stealing money from a bank near his home.

The patriarch paid $6,500 in restitution and was sentenced to 140 hours of community service, reports EntertainmentWise.

A spokesperson for Scott and Kourtney has yet to comment.
