Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes 'couldn't be more excited' with pregnancy
Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes reportedly “could not be more excited” about her pregnancy.
Earlier this week the American edition of OK! magazine reported that Eva is seven months pregnant with the couple’s first child. While they are yet to confirm the news many other outlets claim to have corroborated it with their own sources, and Ellen DeGeneres wished them well on the new arrival on Twitter.
“They literally could not be more excited,” an insider told People magazine.
“She's feeling great.”
Ryan, 33, and the 40-year-old actress have been together since 2011 and also starred alongside each other in The Place Beyond the Pines. The news they are expecting came as a shock, although Eva hasn’t been seen in public much for some time. A photographer did get a shot of her out in Los Angeles after the story broke, but she bent over and hid her stomach with her handbag.
Apparently those close to Ryan are not at all shocked by the news.
“Ryan adores kids. He has such a way with them," a source said previously. "He loves being around kids and can't wait to be a dad."
Further weight has been added to the pregnancy speculation as Eva didn’t accompany Ryan to this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where he was promoting his directorial debut – which she starred in – Lost River.
Before the news there were rumours that Ryan and Eva’s relationship was up and down, but apparently he thinks she is the perfect woman.
“She's very friendly and approachable. She's also very independent and Ryan is too," a source explained. "He loves that Eva isn't prissy. She's like a dude. She's outgoing and makes everyone feel great.”
