RTE radio star Louise McSharry has welcomed her first child with husband Gordon Spiegen.
The 2fm broadcaster (31) shared the exciting news on Twitter that she gave birth to a baby boy named Sam.
"Happy to say we have our baby, he is the best thing ever and his name is Sam," she wrote.
McSharry exclaimed her joy at becoming pregnant earlier this year "against all odds" after her battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

She explained back in May that it hadn't sunk in yet.
"I don't think I've let myself really believe it yet," she said.
"It's exciting but I'm trying to do everything right and be careful, and just hope for the best."
The popular presenter said she was surprised she fell pregnant.
She said she was prepared for the worst when it came to her fertility as "the treatment which had saved my life had also decimated my egg count".
"Where I should have been at 35 or 40 on the scale of being able to conceive, I was a two.
"I was a two, and I was p**sed off," she said last month.
A delighted Louise said she had been prepared for an uphill battle to try to conceive naturally.
