Rosanna Davison says 'I Do' for second time to Wesley Quirke in Ibiza ceremony
Two down, one to go.
They were declared husband and wife last month and now Rosanna Davison and Wes Quirke have finally walked down the aisle together.
The newlyweds held the second of their three wedding parties yesterday, hosting an intimate reception bash at the Atzaro hotel in Ibiza with just 100 guests in attendance.
The 30-year-old former Miss World and her other half officially became Mr and Mrs Quirke on May 16, when they invited 25 of their immediate families to be present for the civil ceremony.
However, Chris De Burgh’s daughter Rosanna waited until yesterday to wear a bridal gown and be given away by the Lady In Red singer.
The family hired well-known wedding planner Tara Fay to ensure the bride and groom’s Ibiza party went off without a hitch and several security guards were stationed at the Spanish hotel last night to avoid any disruptions to the occasion.
Guests were also warned not to share any pictures of the bride online and after much speculation about whether or not the pair were granting a glitzy magazine exclusive access to the wedding, it has been revealed that the UCD graduate has done a deal with a well-known publication, thought to be in the UK.
Rosanna and Wes, who share a home in Foxrock, have been dating since 2006. They became engaged in December 2012.
The love birds will continue the celebrations with a third bash for their wider circle of family and friends in the five-star Powerscourt Hotel on June 21.
Although she’s taking a little time off work to enjoy life as a newlywed, Rosanna has been hard at work in recent months.
The AR model has been getting a taste for the TV world lately and took part in a new series by RTE. She will be seen on the small screen this autumn after getting involved in a documentary hosted by presenter and stylist Angela Scanlon.
“It’s a four-part series and I look at all sorts of things from freckles to fem-bots,” said Meath native Angela.
Slender blonde Rosanna has already filmed her scenes for the programme, and show bosses were very impressed with her honesty and professionalism.
