Rory McIlroy and fiancée Erica Stoll make the most of the Dublin sunshine with low-key date
Rory McIlroy is making the most of his downtime in Ireland with fiancée Erica Stoll.
The former world number one golfer jetted into town last Wednesday and has been mixing work and pleasure during his week long jaunt with his other half.
The loved-up couple, who became engaged in December, made the most of the sunny weather on Tuesday with a stroll on Dublin's Grafton Street before returning to the five-star Westbury Hotel, where they've called home for the last week.
And it looks like Erica is enjoying the perks of being a golf WAG as the last time Rory was spotted in Dublin he was laden down with Chanel bags and total worth of her summer accessories is in the five figures.
The 29-year-old PGA employee was spotted the Chanel Medium Classic Flap Bag, which retails for approximately €4,000 and a pair of impossible-to-get-your-hands-on Chanel canvas espadrilles, costing an estimated €480.
Earlier this week, Rory, from Holywood, Co Down, said he was having reservations about playing at the Rio 2016 Olympics due to threats of the Zika virus as he is planning on starting a family with soon.
"I've been reading a lot of reports about Zika and there's some articles saying it might be worse than what they're saying," he told the BBC.
"I have to monitor that situation because there's going to be a point in time over the next couple of years where we're going to have to think about starting a family and I don't want anything to affect that.
"Right now I'm ready to go to the Olympics and go down to Rio and try to compete for a gold medal."
He added: "I'm actually going to get my injections on Wednesday for all that so at least I'll be immunised for whatever if I do get bitten by a mosquito down there."
