Ronan Keating: 'I don't regret the end of my marriage - I'm sick of taking all the blame'
Ronan Keating has elaborated on his recent comments about the breakdown of his 14-year marriage to Yvonne Connolly.
The Boyzone singer is promoting his new album and gave an in-depth interview with the Telegraph in which he spoke about his affair with a backing dancer in 2010 and his split with Yvonne in 2011.
The pair have three children together Jack (16), Missy (14) and Ali (10) and Ronan wed tv producer Storm Uechtritz in August 2015. He is quoted as saying: "Nobody should have an affair. If you’re man enough to have the balls to go home and say, ‘Sorry, this isn’t working any more’, that’s the ideal situation, isn’t it? But we’re weak. We don’t do that. So yes, I hurt people and I am sorry for that hurt, but the outcome is I found Storm and I’m very grateful. But I’m saying I’m sorry.”
But after the piece was published, he elaborated further on his comments, saying he doesn't regret the end of his marriage, but does regret any hurt he caused.
"I do not regret the end of my marriage, it's what I wanted," he wrote in a lengthy Facebook post. "There is a lot more to it than an affair & obviously it was broken well before then.

"Over the years I have kept my mouth shut & taken all the blame for the sake of my kids & my ex wife. But enough now. After 6yrs I draw the line. There is a lot more to my situation than people will ever know & that's the way it should be. But there are always two people in a relationship and if it's not working there's more than one good reason for it."
Keating explained that he wanted to draw a line in the sand after six years, saying: "Please respect that everyone has moved on and better off."
