Jessica and Ronan O'Gara celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in style.
The couple, who have five children together, wed in July 2006 and marked the milestone occasion with a family trip in their adopted home of France along with a visit to New York and home in Ireland.
Speaking at the launch of the Longines Irish Champions Weekend, Irish rugby legend Ronan O'Gara and his wife Jessica said: "We had a lovely holiday. We went with the family down to Île de Ré in France…
"I created a fund with Jonny Sexton for Crumlin, the number 10 fund, so we were in New York for two nights fundraising and made a lot of money, so we did that together
"And we went to Kenmare together. It was fantastic. A real mixture of events."
The pair are style ambassadors for the upcoming racing weekend, but the former Munster man said he was shocked his wife agreed to participate as she is rarely pictured in public.
"It’s a big surprise that Jess has decided [to get involved]. It’s taken up nearly 14 years to do something together because Jess keeps herself to herself. It’s fantastic," he explained.
Meanwhile, Ronan expanded on his comments about what daily life in France is like now, in particular Paris, after the string of terror attacks which have devastated the country in recent months.
"It was extremely scary," said the 39-year-old Racing 92 rugby coach.
"We've been living through it for the last two years now nearly. It's nearly become the norm," he admitted.
Jessica said that resilience is key, noting: "If you think about it, you wouldn’t get out of bed really. You’d stop living."
The former primary school teacher said that the attacks haven't changed the way they live as a family, although they encounter extra security measures in their daily lives.
"There are protocols in the schools; adults aren’t allowed into the building, they have barriers up, but we’re all used to that now. Any time you go into a shop, you open your bag [to be searched]," said Jessica.
Ronan and Jessica moved to Paris in 2013, with Ronan working full time as a coach for the Racing 92 rugby team following his retirement from international rugby.
The couple have five children between the ages of seven and two; twins Rua and Molly (seven), JJ (six), Zac (three) and Max (two).
The family of seven live 10km from the centre of the city in Sceaux, with Ronan previously saying that the children are already fluent in French.
Longines Irish Champions Weekend will be held across two days in two different locations. It will be held on Saturday 10 September in Leopardstown and on Sunday 11 September in The Curragh.
