Wicklow actor Jack Reynor’s A-list profile continues to rise.
Last night, he had the honour of throwing the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs baseball game, joining the ranks of Hollywood's biggest names.
In an iconic pin-stripe jersey, Jack (23) and his Transformers: Age of Extinction co-star Nicola Peltz threw the ceremonial first pitch before the game against the New York Mets at the Wrigley Field stadium yesterday afternoon.
Afterwards, the young stars signed autographs at the Cubs Store.
The blockbuster cast are in town for their promotional tour, one year after they filmed scenes in the Windy City.
Jack and Nicola, who plays his love interest on screen, were not joined by her on-screen dad Mark Wahlberg, who was celebrating his 43rd birthday yesterday.
The world premiere will take place on June 18th in Hong Kong, where Jack will be joined by his fiancée Madeline Mulqueen.
Limerick beauty Madeline will be on her beau’s arm for some of the red carpet premieres, and has vowed to wear Irish designers on all occasions.
She is expected to champion designers like Joanne Hynes and Natalie B. Coleman, saying, “I want to wear all Irish, that’s the plan. For me, it’s like my own fashion show around the world - it’s just about fashion and having fun.”
The doting model added: “I’m really looking forward to it. We’re going to make the most of every city that we go to. I couldn’t be any prouder of him.”
