She kept that quiet.

Emma Watson has reportedly been dating tech entrepreneur William 'Mack' Knight for the last four months and they've just wrapped their first holiday together.

The Harry Potter star (25) first met the businessman in September and the pair are fresh from a romantic spa break in California at the VIP Post Ranch Inn, which charges €9,000 a week for a stay. Knight is a senior manager at software company Medallia.

And it looks like they have a lot in common as Knight is a graduate of New York's ivy league Columbia University, while Emma graduated from Brown University in 2014 with a degree in English Literature.

Emma previously dated rugby player Matthew Janney for over a year before they split in 2014.

"Mack is just a normal, down-to-earth guy who has nothing to do with Hollywood and Emma loves that," an insider told The Sun. "She was left really hurt by her break-up with Matthew and it's taken her more than a year to feel ready to start again with somebody.

"They're really happy with each other and see each other whenever Emma does not have work commitments."

Meanwhile, the women's rights advocate has just been appointed a visiting fellow at Oxford alongside fellow Hollywood star Benedict Cumberbatch.
