Prince George's adorable reaction to learning dad Prince William was in China
Life is the royal household sounds as adorable as you'd expect.
Prince George (22 months), who is clearly angling for the Smartest Baby Ever award, might need to work on his geography, but boasts some serious problem solving skills.
When he was told by his mother Kate Middleton that his father Prince William was in China, the toddler reportedly ran straight to a nearby china cabinet to look for him.
The Duchess of Cambridge told luxury travel advisor Claudia Gordon the sweet story when they spent time together marking the 150th anniversary of London's Goring Hotel in March.
At the time, the future King of England was in China for one week on royal duties.
"I asked her if Prince George was excited about the new prince or princess that was coming and she said yes and that he is a toddler and is talking and walking," she told Florida's News-Press.
"Then she told me that his daddy, Prince William, was visiting China.
"After hearing this, [Prince George] went to the china cabinet, opened it and proclaimed 'Daddy is not here.'"
"She said they would work on his geography," she laughed.
Meanwhile, it's all hands on deck for the young royals as they prepare for the arrival of the second royal baby at the end of the month.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are doing things differently this time around in comparison to George's birth in July 2013.
Security restrictions have been put in place to ensure it's business as usual for the hospital, for the duration of the royal stay, according to People magazine.
After Prince George's birth, the hordes of photographers and reporters waited outside the hospital for days for 'the big reveal', but they'll be adopting a different approach with the new arrival, including announcing the baby's gender.
Prince William is currently 'on standby' and won't be further than two hours from central London and it's also reported there is a helicopter available should he need it.
