Police 'save the day' for Claudine Keane and son after driver turned up 'intoxicated'
Police came to the rescue of Claudine Keane in France yesterday after a driver turned up “intoxicated” to collect her and the couple's son from the train station.
The wife of Ireland captain Robbie Keane has been spending time with her family in France while the Irish team seek out success at Euro 2016.
She has gone sightseeing in Paris, partied with the fans and been spotted at both Irish games.
But yesterday she was left fuming after a driver left her and son Robert Jnr waiting for hours.
She claimed that she only got to her hotel after a kind-hearted police officer took pity on her.
She wrote on Twitter: “Shout out to the policeman who saved the day after our driver showed up intoxicated at train station no taxis anywhere after waiting for hours outside with Robert & luggage.

Claudine has been in France with son Robert Jnr, mum Joan Palmer and other family members for the duration of the tournament.
She has proven a hit with the fans and was spotted partying with supporters outside the Blarney Stone bar in Bbordeaux over the weekend.
