Pippa O'Connor reveals cruel taunts over skinny frame: 'You wouldn't tell an obese person to lay off the burgers'
Fashionista Pippa O'Connor has revealed the taunts she receives online for her slim frame.
The mum-of-one weighed into the post baby body debate after Amy Huberman deleted a photo of herself due when some followers accused her of being "too slim".
And model Pippa, who won the Most Stylish Woman Award at the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards on Friday night, said that many commenters noted her slim frame, telling her to "eat a burger".
"The other night after the VIP Style Awards, there were pictures of me online," she told the Irish Sun. "99% of the comments were great and so on but a few comments were, 'Oh my God, way too thin' or 'eat a burger' and I just thought to myself, 'That's the height of ignorance. You wouldn't say to someone, 'You're a few stone overweight, so lay off the burgers'.
"To me, it's as insulting. You've no idea what someone does or doesn't do. That could just be the way someone is and that's the way I am.
"Personally, because I'm flat chested, it makes me look even slimmer."
Pippa, who is married to tv presenter Brian Ormond, is encouraging women to support one another rather than bring each other down.
"I just thought when I saw the picture of Amy, we all need to just think before we speak," she added. "I just think it's rude. It's bad to other women."
