The 32-year-old sister of the Duchess of Cambridge hit the slopes in Lillehammer, Norway, with boyfriend James Matthews (in their first public appearance) all in the name of charity.

Pippa, a party planner and contributing editor with Vanity Fair, took part in the Birkenbeinerrennet ski race, coming in at 5 hours and 58 minutes, to raise awareness for The UK's National Skier's and Boarder's Charity Disability Snowsport UK, an organisation which offers opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in skiing activities.

It was revealed back in January that Pippa had rekindled her romance with her former flame, hedge fund manager James, whom she dated in 2012 and it looks like their relationship is going from strength to strength the second time around.

James, who is the older brother of Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, now lives with the socialite in a plush townhouse worth an estimated €21m. In October, Pippa split with long-term love Nico Jackson, who lives in Geneva, after three years of dating, blaming the long-distance as causing too much strain on their relationship.

Insiders previously dished to E! News that James, whose family owns the renowned Eden Rock hotel in St Barths, is more suited to Pippa's social lifestyle.

"[He's] more social and outgoing than Nico, loves society events and celebrity events. Nico never really enjoyed the spotlight. James revels in it," the initial source shared. "Pippa loves socializing and, with James on her arm, there will be plenty more of it."
