Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has opened up about her frustration over the public intrusion into her personal life.
The singer's personal life was the subject of much public interest when she split with Zayn Malik last August.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine, Perrie said it was a tough time.
"When it’s your personal life, something you’re going through, I think people should f**k off and have respect.
"At the end of the day, we are real people going through real things."
The One Direction star reportedly called off the couple's engagement via text message. Perrie was devastated by the breakup and was even seen crying while she performed with her bandmates.
Zayn has moved on with supermodel Gigi Hadid while Perrie is currently single.
It appears that the 23-year old has become wary of entering into a new romance since her last heartbreak.
When asked what the best relationship advice she ever received was, the blonde beauty replied: "Don't have one."
Meanwhile, bandmate Jade Thirlwall has just entered a new relationship with The Struts star Jed Elliott.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan, the 23-year-old said she was anxious about that their touring schedules will keep the couple apart for long periods of time.
"I’m scared. He’s going to America and we’re headed all over the place, too.
"It’s going to be really hard but we will FaceTime and hopefully he will come and watch us. We’ll see."
