Paltrow: Hard to balance everything
Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted she sometimes feels as if she is failing.
The Hollywood star seems to balance being a working mother with raising her two children Apple, 10, and Moses, eight, and running her lifestyle site Goop, but confessed that she faces the same sort of struggles that other woman do.
According to the Daily Mail, The Iron Man star told Viva magazine: "Some days I just think I am failing everywhere.
"Like today I was making lunch and saying to myself 'This lunch is so bad', throwing pasta in the lunch bag, yelling 'Get in the car.'
"I was losing my cool."
Gwyneth, who split from her husband Chris Martin earlier this year, went on: "I think it's very hard to try to find the right balance and I think we all aspire to that balance, but it's easier said than done.
"It's just a matter of trying your best each day and not being too hard on yourself about things."
Earlier this year the actress sparked anger when she suggested that movie stars like her had it tougher than other working mums because working a 9-5 job was "not like being on set" of a film.
But in the Viva interview, the 42-year-old explained that she has a lot of respect for any woman raising children while holding down any job.
"I think when you are a working mother it is always very difficult, in fact it's difficult if you are a mother anyway even if you are not working," said Gwyneth.
"It's the demand, the responsibility and the love - it's a lot and trying to balance a career with it makes it hard."
She continued: "I have a lot of respect for women who try to do both things, because I really struggle."
