One party is enough for Rosanna as she toasts 30th birthday with family
It is a milestone birthday that usually warrants a huge party, but Rosanna Davison did not waver from her strict health regime as she celebrated turning 30.
The former Miss World was hoping for a specially prepared vegan cake as she marked the occasion quietly with her fiancé and family yesterday.
Following her recent Hen Party shenanigans, the slender blonde, who is a strong advocate of the vegan diet, said she will celebrate her birthday with a quiet meal this weekend.
The model's 30th birthday has been overshadowed by her hen celebrations in Monaghan's swanky Castle Leslie last weekend and her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Wes Quirke in Ibiza.
"I celebrated my birthday last Saturday night with all my girlfriends on my Hen so I will be keeping it quiet with a family dinner this weekend," Rosanna told the Herald.
"But I was spoiled rotten by Wes and my family so I am enjoying being 30 so far," she added.
While most models despair at ageing and the competition from younger beauties in the fashion industry, Rosanna said she is ready to start another chapter in her life.
As well as meeting husband-to-be Wes, the Dubliner's twenties also saw her launch a successful modelling career on the back of winning Miss World in 2003 as well as stripping off for Hugh Hefner's Playboy magazine.
"I am really excited about my 30s," Rosanna told the Herald.
"I did everything I wanted to do and more in my 20s so I am definitely ready to move on now to the new decade."
Top of the list for Rosanna is setting up her own practice after qualifying as a nutritional therapist earlier this year.
However, all plans will be put on hold until after the wedding of the summer at the exclusive Atzaro Hotel in Ibiza during the June bank holiday.
