Niall Horan celebrates 22nd birthday early with serenade at One Direction concert
When you're a superstar singer, turning 22 has its perks.
This includes being serenaded by one of the biggest bands in the world (which you're part of) in front of an audience of thousands of adoring fans.
Mullingar native Niall celebrates his birthday today, but his bandmates kicked off celebrations early last night at a sold-out concert in Boston, with Liam Payne leading the festivities.
Meanwhile, 1D fans have been putting their power to good use and raised nearly €9,000 for Autism Assistance Dogs in Ireland in honour of the star.

A JustGiving fan page set up in his honour, states: "One Direction’s Niall Horan has done so much for fans, so we, the fans, would like to give back.
"In honor of his 22nd birthday, we are collecting donations for the Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland. You can read all about our latest efforts at 1dfansgive.com or follow us on our twitter and/or YouTube channel. "
He will be home in October with the band during the Irish leg of their world tour and is expected to celebrate the occasion on our shores then.
Earlier this month, it was reported that he is looking for a base in Ireland to call home when the band begins their hiatus next year.
