Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville call off engagement
Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville have announced their split, five months after becoming engaged.
The pop star couple, who have been together since 2013, said they are committed to remaining good friends for the sake of their one-year-old daughter Ella Rose.
The couple released a joint statement, reading: "After careful consideration, we have decided to amicably end our relationship.
"There is no one reason for the failure of our relationship. Unfortunately, it's just the way things have turned out and it's no one's fault.
"In the interests of our family we remain good friends and we hope that people will respect our privacy at this time."
The couple dated briefly during the early days of their singing careers but reconnected on ITV2's The Big Reunion in 2013.
Former Atomic Kitten singer Hamilton, 33, and 5ive singer Neville, 36, announced their engagement in OK! magazine last year, revealing that Neville had proposed in October on a romantic break to Rome and discussing their plans to wed in 2017.
Both have been married once before.
Hamilton has three sons - Josh, Harry and Alfie - from three previous relationships.
