TV3's Anna Daly said she doesn't feel any pressure over her appearance, but admitted she could "do better".
The former model is known for her svelte figure, but said she doesn't stay awake at night "worrying about my figure".
"My answer to that has always been that if I felt the pressure, I'd probably be skinnier than I am," she told the Herald. "I do look at things in shops, like a playsuit and go 'When I'm skinnier I'll wear that' and I think everybody does that.
"[My size] doesn't keep me up at night, but I know I could improve - but I don't feel a huge amount of pressure," she added.
The Saturday and Sunday AM presenter said her priorities have changed since she had her sons, James (4) and Euan (2).
"When I look back to my life pre-kids - and it's only four years ago - even just shopping for red carpet events, I would have been quite fussy," she said. "I would have gone to lots of different places for dresses, but now I get sorted in the first shop.
"I think your priorities are completely different, not to say you don't like getting glammed up for the red carpet or on a Saturday night, but you don't have the whole weekend to be picking outfits or killing yourself in the gym.
"When you have kids, you're trying to balance up everything. You're in work, but you're trying to get family time as well and get the balance right," she added.
