Millie Mackintosh jetted in to Dublin this weekend to support husband Professor Green as he appeared on The Late Late Show.

The rapper was a hit with viewers who were impressed by his candour as he revealed his battles with insecurity and anxiety to host Ryan Tubridy.

Professor Green (31), whose real name is Stephen Manderson was on the show to promote his autobiography Lucky, and before his appearance he and Millie (28) dined out at Dylan McGrath's new Dublin eaterie Taste at Rustic.

The restaurant had been recommended by RTE stylist Ingrid Hoey.

"Delicious date night before the late late show! Thank you @ingridhoey for the recommendation," Millie wrote on Instagram.

The couple stayed at the plush Marker hotel at Grand Canal Dock.

They had been in Dublin since Thursday when Professor Green performed at the 3Arena and on Friday he signed copies of his book at Eason's.

Millie joked about being a "groupie wife" on Instagram.

The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary on September 10 and the rapper recently admitted they suffered marital problems after the death of his father.

He reavealed he sought help after his father's suicide to stop himself blaming Millie for their relationship problems.

"I don't rely on her to solve my problems, that's not her duty. It would be really unfair to put that burden on her, it would almost be shirking my own responsibilities. That would make for a bad relationship and then it would become a blame game.

"It's up to me to go and talk to someone who understands properly the science behind depression and how the mind works to help me with those problems," he said.

Former Made in Chelsea star Millie is a regular in the capital having bagged several promotion gigs as well as attending the wedding of her good friend Stephanie Smart who married Ross Desmond at Adare Manor during the summer.
