Oscar-winning actor Mel Gibson and his pregnant fiancée aren't sparing any expense during their stay in Dublin.
The 60-year-old director and 26-year-old screenwriter have been in Ireland for the last week and are making the most of their time in the capital as they prepare for seven more weeks here as Gibson films here.
The couple are currently taking up residence at five star Shelbourne Hotel in the exclusive Princess Grace Suite, the two bedroom presidential suite, which costs €5,000 a night, according to the Irish Mail on Sunday.
Gibson sightings have been frequent since the pair touched down last Monday as he has been spotted eating healthy snacks at Yogism, dining at FX Buckley and drinking a pint in celebrity favourite The Long Hall on Georges Street, which boasts Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna as fans.
He also took in Irish stage show RIOT as part of Dublin Fringe Festival hosted by Panti Bliss.
Panti stars in the production, which has been described as a kaleidoscopic evening of theatre, music, comedy, drag, variety, circus performances and searing social commentary.
It isn't the first touch the controversial star has touched down on Irish shores - he previously jetted in for the 2008 IFTAs where he was given the Contribution to World Cinema award and also stayed The Shelbourne and scouted locations for Braveheart here in 1994.
Gibson is in the capital for eight weeks to shoot The Professor and The Madman, alongside Oscar-winning actor Sean Penn. The film tells the story of the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary. It is expected to shoot in Dublin for eight weeks, with production beginning at the end of the month.
