Meghan Markle 'totally charmed' the British royal family - including Queen Elizabeth
Get your hats ready, rumours of a royal wedding are gathering major traction.
Since the early days of their one-year romance, there have been weekly reports about the pace at which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship is moving and it didn't take long before whispers of an engagement began circulating.
And while it's clear things are heating up between the two, her recent trip to London has reportedly all but cemented a royal proposal.
The Suits actress (35) is currently residing with Harry in Kensington Palace during a hiatus from filming her show in Toronto and has been busy dazzling her boyfriend's inner circle.
After "totalling charming" Prince William, Kate Middleton - and more importantly Princess Charlotte and Prince George - she is said to have met with Britain's Queen Elizabeth at Windsor Castle before attending Pippa Middleton's wedding last weekend, according to heat magazine.
"He's completely in love and wants to include Meghan in his life as much as possible," the source said.
Markle avoided a big entrance with her beau to the church on Saturday, instead choosing a more low-key entrance at the afters knowing a picture of the pair hand-in-hand would overshadow the bride and groom and despite her high profile career, in recent months she has adopted a more royal approach to the media.
She is often pictured on her way to and from yoga classes near her Toronto apartment and a handful of times in London, always wearing sunglasses, leggings and runners and she doesn't court the paparazzi. Further adding fuel to the engagement fire, she closed down her lifestyle blog The Tig and ended her contract as a brand ambassador with a leather company, suggesting she's tying up loose ends before a more permanent move across the UK - likely with the promise of a ring and a crown.
Not to mention that Westminster Abbey released a statement clarifying she is eligible to wed Prince Harry there, despite the fact that she is divorced (she was previously married to Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013).
"The Abbey follows the General Synod Ruling of 2002. Since then it has been possible for divorced people to be married in the Church of England," a spokesperson told the Daily Express.
His grandmother, Britain's longest reining monarch, is said to have approved of the budding romance early on and royal insiders expect him to pop the question by July.
Talk of the couple getting hitched comes just after Harry and Meghan were snapped sharing a kiss at the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park in Ascot earlier this month. "She was absolutely lovely and was chatting with everyone at the polo", the insider added.
"She gets British humour and was laughing at everyone's jokes. She was saying that she loves horses, but doesn't ride so would like Harry to teach her."
Many people drew comparisons between other royal relationships which were confirmed at a similar event, including brother William and sister-in-law Kate's, and mother and father Charles and Diana's courtship.
Meanwhile, Meghan's friend Priyanka Chopra said she thinks the actress actress and prince "look great together".
As for reports of a wedding, she told Wendy Williams: "High profile relationships are so stressful anyway. As a friend I wouldn't like to add on that at all."
