Megan Fox might be expecting her third child with Brian Austin Green, but the pair are still headed for a split.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles actress (29) announced she's expecting with the former 90210 star - eight months after announcing their divorce. The couple wed in 2010 after six years of dating, having first met when Megan was just 18.

She hit headlines at a CinemaCon event earlier this month when she showed off her growing baby bump with many speculating about the father could be, before she confirmed it's her soon to be ex-husband.

And while they're working on their relationship, it looks like the pair are prolonging their break-up.

"Brian is the only man Megan has ever fully loved so they just fell back into things, even after they split last July," an insider told heat.

"It was scary in the dating world for Megan. She likes to be worshipped. She's used to Brian doing everything for her...so when other men expected her to act more independently, she freaked out."

"Megan is very torn, there's no better dad or nanny for their children than Brian, but that doesn't change things between them."

Their original split, which was announced last July before Megan filed for divorce in August, is believed to have been prompted by her busy work schedule. They have two children together Noah (three) and Bodhi (two).

"Megan worked a lot last year, and she continues to work a lot. When she is away, Brian stays with the kids. Before they filed for divorce, they had disagreements about this situation," a source told PEOPLE.

"Megan is a great mom, but also wants to keep her great career," says the source. "Brian ended up being a stay-at-home dad. He is happy to be with the kids, but also wants another life than just being a dad."

"Things have not been perfect between Megan and Brian, but they continue to work on their marriage. As of now, the divorce is still on."
