Matt LeBlanc and Irish tv producer Aurora Mulligan took to the red carpet in a rare appearance together on Sunday night.

The former Friends star and Mulligan posed for photographs at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York, before attending a panel discussion ahead of premiere the final season of LeBlanc's comedy series Episodes.

It was reported in June last year that the Top Gear host (49) and film producer for the show Mulligan were dating, but the pair have avoided the spotlight in recent months.

They were first pictured together in May, but his spokesperson denied a romance at the time, saying they had a "strictly work relationship."

Aurora (32) moved to England at 18 to study at Liverpool University and has been working at the BBC since 2009. She hit headlines in March when she was pictured in a wedding dress for a segment on the revamped motoring show.

In a past interview with the Irish Independent, Aurora spoke of her pride at Top Gear's filming in Co Kerry, saying she couldn't wait for viewers to catch the episode, which aired on Sunday night.

“I can’t wait for people to see this programme. Dingle looks absolutely stunning and we were so blessed with the weather in Kerry. We’ve filmed across the world for this series but the reception from the people in Ireland was the best of the lot.”
