Organisers of one of Scotland's biggest pantomimes have unveiled Marti Pellow as this year's star.
The Wet Wet Wet singer will play evil sorcerer Abanazar in Aladdin at the SECC in Glasgow in December.
Pellow, from Clydebank, follows in the footsteps of past performers John Barrowman and David Hasselhoff.
He has previously starred in the West End and on Broadway in shows including Chicago, Blood Brothers and Evita.
The singer said: "This production of Aladdin is incredible, with some of the most exciting and entertaining staging I've ever worked with."
The show's executive producer Michael Harrison said: "We are delighted that Marti will star in Glasgow's biggest pantomime in another top-drawer Christmas show packed with comedy, amazing costumes and sets and unmissable special effects."
Aladdin will run at the SECC Clyde Auditorium from December 10 to 31, with tickets available now at www.secc.co.uk or by calling 0844 395 4000.
