Emma Watson has shattered all of our dreams by shooting down rumours of a romance between her and Prince Harry.

The Harry Potter star was linked to the flame haired royal in an Australian publication and after three days of wild speculation, she has broken her silence on the reports.

"WORLD. Remember that little talk we had about not believing everything written in the media," she wrote on her Twitter account, referring to the story that they were in the early stages of a relationship.

Aussie tabloid Woman's Day claimed they had a world exclusive scoop on the relationship.

It's not the first time the Aussie publication has annoyed the British royal family - they previously published photos of Prince William and Kate Middleton's Mustique honeymoon in 2011 and just last month, they photoshopped the Duchess of Cambridge's face beyond recognition on their cover.

Both Emma and Harry are single after the actress split from her rugby playing boyfriend Matthew Janney and Harry split from actress Cressida Bonas last May.
