Reality star Mark Wright is reportedly willing to do whatever it takes to strengthen his marriage - including a career change.

The former TOWIE cast member wed the former Coronation Street actress (both 29) in 2015 and their marriage has been under the microscope of late as their busy careers have resulted in them spending more time apart.

But Wright is said to be considering a move "more aligned" to Keegan's thriving acting career

"Michelle has been encouraging him to establish a credible career for his own self-esteem and have prestigious presenting gigs rather than relying on DJ sets and personal appearances. She's told him she thinks changing his career will help their marriage as he'll be much happier.

"She thinks it's good for them as a celebrity couple to have careers that are more aligned with each other.

"He adores Michelle and has said he will do whatever it takes to make things work."

Since leaving Corrie in 2014, Michelle has been busy breaking down post-soap career barriers and recently wrapped several months of filming for BBC series Our Girl in South Africa and the UK.

Meanwhile, Wright dismissed speculation his marriage is on the rocks, saying he and his wife of one year are looking forward to spending some time together.

"I've been up and down the country and so has Michelle, so it’ll be great when we finally get that time off. It’s been a long time coming," he told OK! magazine.
