Love/Hate star Peter Coonan reveals he has had second child with fiancée Kim
Irish actor Peter Coonan said his life more resembles "daddy day care" as he juggles life as a father-of-two.
The Love/Hate star, who played Fran in the RTE gangland drama, revealed he and fiancée Kim O'Driscoll welcomed a baby girl earlier this year, having kept the pregnancy news under wraps.
"We haven’t got married yet. We have two kids now. We have welcomed our second daughter," he told RSVP Magazine.
"Her name is Katie, so I am busy with that [parenthood], I am like Daddy Day Care."
The couple have been dating since 2013 and Coonan popped the question in 2015, but they're still in no rush to wed.
When his eldest daughter Beth was born in 2014, the actor gushed over how happy fatherhood made him.
"Life and work is important for me but her life is more important for me now, so I want to work to make that better — that’s extremely key for me," he told the Irish Independent.
"No books can teach you what it’s like and if you try to read any, they don’t tell you anything — you’ve got to figure it out and learn it on the ground.
"But it’s an amazing experience, it’s the best thing to ever happen and she’s wonderful."
