Today FM beauty Louise Duffy will clearly be sticking to tradition when it comes her New Year's Eve wedding to Paul Galvin.
The bubbly broadcaster (31) and her Kerry footballer fiance will tie the knot at an intimate wedding in Mayo tomorrow.
The bride-to-be has posted a picture of the jewellery that she'll be wearing on her big day as she dons some good luck charms for her ceremony.
"Something new and blue from Juvi Designs," she wrote, alongside a snap of a delicate blue necklace and matching earrings.
Louise said that while she was tempted to go "snazzy" when it came to her wedding dress, she decided to keep her dress more traditional.
"The place we're getting married in is just beautiful, but for New Year's Eve, I want it to be magical with lights and candles and everything," she said.
She added that she was "dying" to see what her other half - who's now a designer for Dunnes Stores - would be wearing for their nuptials.
"He'll be very dapper, but I think he'll probably go quite traditional. I was the same. I thought maybe I'll just get a plain white dress from anywhere and jazz it up, but at the same time I don't want to be looking at these pictures in 20 years' time and thinking, 'Oh wasn't I a fool trying to be all snazzy'," she added.
"It's better to put your own stamp on it and have something that will remain beautiful and not (make me) annoyed and try and hide my album in years to come."
The broadcaster and occasional host on TV3's Seven O'Clock Show has been dating Paul for more than three years. The pair got engaged during a trip to New York in 2014.
The Mayo native, who's the only girl in a family of four, said it was the first wedding in her family, so there was "great excitement" surrounding the nuptials.
She and Paul are private about their relationship and rarely comment on their romance. However, Paul has insisted that there's no fear of him upstaging Louise on their big day.
"It would be very hard to upstage Louise, wherever you go with her. You couldn't upstage her. But we're obviously excited about it. We're looking forward to the day now," he said.
The pair will take some well-earned time off as they celebrate their nuptials.
While Louise's afternoon show is hitting all the right notes with listeners, Paul also recently hit the spot with his new range of clothes for Dunnes Stores .
Called Vanguard, it has gone down well with fashion-forward guys - and another collaboration is in the pipeline.
