Irish model Chloe Loughnan has opened up about her whirlwind wedding to Turkish popstar Serdar Ortac.
The 21-year-old model from Youghal, Co Cork, moved to her husband's native Turkey to pursue work abroad.
The couple met on the set of one of Ortac's music videos in 2012, when Chloe was just 19 years old.
They wed in a lavish ceremony in the exclusive Turkish coastal area Kuru Cesme in front of 500 guests.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on RTE 2FM this morning, Chloe said: "Life is brilliant, it's amazing. I'm just sitting on my balcony in the sunshine and everything is perfect.
"We're still newlyweds, so we're soaking up that and I have to say, everything is perfect."
Chloe explained that she wasn't looking for love when she made the move to Istanbul and her romance with the then 42-year-old pop sensation, described as the 'Turkish Michael Jackson' took her by surprise.
"In the beginning, I came here for work and I wasn't looking for any kind of relationship. When I first met him (Serdar), he was very similar to me, even though there were cultural differences.
"We really clicked and got along from the beginning, and we started on this amazing journey. It blossomed from there."
The teenage model went from an unknown to a famous face in Turkey nearly overnight.
"In the beginning, it was really strange. Everywhere we'd go, there were paparazzi in the street taking photos of us; people asking for interviews' I thought it was really bizarre.
"I'm so used to everything now, that it doesn't seem strange anymore.
Her mother Lucy, who also appeared on the radio show, said that she misses her daughter, but visits her often.
"I talk to her every day. I'm well used to talking to Chloe, only arrived from Istanbul a couple of days ago."
Chloe and Serdar hit Irish headlines earlier this month after their June 11th wedding, where she also wore four separate gowns, including a couture design by Turkish-Irish designer Umit Kutluk.
