Liam Neeson says he's 'never been healthier' as photos emerge of him looking frail
Irish actor Liam Neeson has caused worry among fans after he was pictured cutting a gaunt figure in New York.
The Ballymena native (63) is currently based in the Big Apple and was virtually unrecognisable as he went for a stroll in SoHo.
The father-of-two wore a distressed denim baseball cap, olive green army style jacket and was seen chewing on a toothpick as he made his way through the city.
But it was his uncharacteristically slight frame that sparked concern among some fans. A representative for the actor told The Mirror:"He's never been healthier."
The star, best known for his action roles in recent years, recently revealed the advice he shared with his two sons, saying: "Guys haven't got a f*****g clue until they're at least 35. Actually I'd say 40. So don't even think about marriage and kids until you're at least 37, 38."
Neeson, whose wife Natasha Richardson tragically died in 2009, said he constantly thinks of his late wife and praises his children for being the "best support".
"I still think about Natasha all the time," he said. "You don't get over something like that. My kids have also been the best support for me. Hopefully I'm the same for them, too. Work gives your life structure when you lose your way. That explains why I've deliberately worked a lot in recent times. Plus, there's the fact that I've always had the feeling my run of good luck won't last for ever."
