Leinster rugby players enjoyed a night off with their other halves at the annual Leinster Rugby Ball.

The black-tie event took place at the Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge on Saturday night.

Robbie Henshaw arrived with his girlfriend of four years, Sophie Marren, a student at University College Dublin, who opted for an eye-popping canary yellow dress and a pair of caged black heels.

Rising star Garry Ringrose made his first public appearance with childhood sweetheart Ellen Beirne, while Jordi Murphy appeared alongside girlfriend Laura Finnegan, a chemical engineer.

The event, which was hosted by Darragh Maloney, also honoured Mike Ross, who retires at the end of the season. Ross attended with his wife Kimberley.
