Lea Michele says goodbye to 2013 with a New Year break in Mexico
Actress Lea Michele has said she is thrilled to welcome a New Year, following the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith of an overdose last year.
The Glee star was dating the late actor for nearly two years when he was found in a Vancouver hotel room last summer after a heroin overdose.
And Michele was putting her past behind her in style as she soaked up the sun in Hawaii, showing off her incredibly toned figure in a teeny weeny bikini in the meantime.
She holidayed with former Glee co-star and best friend Jonathan Groff, who previously played her love interest on the musical programme.
Lea regularly flew to Hawaii with Monteith and is known for her love of the sunny weather.
While she tries to move on from her partner's tragic death, she recently opened up to chat show host Ellen DeGeneres about the impact he made on her life during their time together.
"It's only been a few months," she said.
"I remember when he came home that night, he kind of puffed out his chest and he was like, 'I talked about you on 'Ellen' today.' I was so happy. He was such a private person... that memory, it just means so much to me'.
"I literally lived every day of my life feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole world. I just thought he was the greatest man."
