Lea Michele glows at her book launch as year anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death approaches

It's been a tough 12 months for her – but it didn’t show as Lea Michele launched her new book.

The ‘Glee’ actress appeared at a signing for new book ‘Brunette Ambition’ in Los Angeles last night.

It’s just two months until the year anniversary of boyfriend Cory’s death – however it appears Lea is finally turning a corner.

She sparked concerns among fans earlier this year about her health , after appearing to drop a substantial amount of weight.

However the star was glowing at her book signing – a healthy looking Lea smiled and joked around for the cameras.

She also opened up about the writing process – revealing Cory even helped her edit the first draft of the book.

She revealed that he advised her to tone down a chapter about one of her friends coming out to her – as he advised it was something deeply personal.

Although she did not answer any questions about a reported feud with ‘Glee’ co-star Naya Rivera, she did say she wished she could have been more candid about the show.

The show is finishing next year – however Lea was obviously conscious that she had a year to go so didn’t go into detail on any on-set tensions.

Rivera was axed from the show earlier this year, just weeks after a reported altercation with Lea.

She coyly revealed during an interview at the signing:  “I do wish I could have gotten a little bit deeper in the Glee chapter… there's so much that I wanted to talk about it”
